How to Make More Time for Your Side Hustle

It’s 2018, if you’re not working on a side hustle right now then I’m shocked. There are so many hours in the day, but after spending all day at your full-time job, it can be difficult to find time or energy to work on your passion projects. So, what can you do in the day to make sure that you’re getting the most out of your day without completely exhausting yourself?

Tools and Apps Can Do the Work for You

There are so many tools out there that you can utilize that will do the leg work for you! Leaving you to focus on the aspects of the business you love rather than getting tied up in the logistics. You can use something like Hootsuite to schedule your social media posts in advance, and WordPress or Wix .comto set up your own website. There are more than enough tools out there so don’t feel like you always have to do everything yourself!

Work in Power Pockets

If you’re feeling tight for time, think about all the time you spend commuting, waiting in lines, watching Netflix – it’s all time that you can use to think about new solutions and catch up on emails. Sit down and delegate specific chunks of time in your calendar, you’ll have much more time to do things related to your business. Remember to make your work hours as consistent as possible.

Accountability

If you find yourself wishing to spend more time on your side hustle, rather than falling into the couch after a long day at the office, join a community or talk to someone else who may be in the same boat! Set aside an hour a week to just talk to them about your goals, accomplishments, etc. Having that accountability buddy/community will help give you deadlines so that you can accomplish things on your to-do list.
