It’s Officially Open, Let’s Go to The Ex!

It’s that time of year again folks, The Ex traditionally signals the official end of summer here in Toronto. Since 1879, The Canadian National Exhibition has continued to be one of the best ways to celebrate the last weeks of summer with one last hurrah! Whether you’re there to do some shopping, see amazing exhibits, listen to some live music, or simply enjoy the thrills of the midway and all of the delicious food. The Ex always has something for everyone to enjoy!

A huge aspect of The Ex has always been the abundance of delicious food. With so many different options, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. There are thousands of people who visit the Food Building every year to get a taste of anything from midway classics, vegan, halal, raw food, sweet treats and gluten-free. Also many options are under $5!  If you’re looking for something extreme, Ribfest will be running every day at Bandshell Park. Be sure to stop by the Food Truck Frenzy on Princes’ Boulevard!

Keeping with tradition, this year the annual Labour Day Parade will be held on Monday, September 3rd, located on University Avenue and will travel across Queen Street down to the CNE. This year is also the 69th annual Canadian International Air Show! Where the US Air Force Thunderbirds alongside the Canadian Forces Snowbirds will be wowing the crowds with an extraordinary aerial performance. You can see this from September 1st-3rdfrom 12pm-3pm.
